Before Booking
How can I book a car?
You can book a car by simply choosing the desired car and filling the required personal details form, providing your name, country, mobile phone number and E-mail address.If you choose to pick up the car at the airport, please do not forget to provide your flight number.Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive by mail a printable voucher.
Is there a cancellation fee?
Full Refund
We will refund you the full amount you have paid:
- If you cancel your booking 48 hours or more prior to your scheduled pick-up date.
You can cancel your booking in “My Bookings” section or by sending a cancellation email to booking@rhodescarrentals.com
Non-Refundable
You will receive no refund of the money you have paid in the following cases:
- In event of cancellation less than 48 hours before the scheduled pick-up date of the vehicle.
- You failed to pick the car up at the arranged time and date(non show).
- You failed to provide the documentation that is required to pick the car up.
What is included in the cost of rental a car?
The rental price includes:
- Full coverage (100%) without deductible
- Civil liability Insurance
- Insurance in case of accident on wheels, bottom, windows
- Driver and passengers Insurance
- Insurance against fire
- Insurance in case of theft
- Replacement of the car in case of breakdown
- All local and national taxes
- 24-hour support and roadside assistance
- Unlimited mileage
- Road map of Rhodes
- Assistance in planning your route
- Registration of a second driver (free on request)
- Child safety seat and booster (free on request)
Are the vehicles insured?
Yes, all our vehicles have mandatory Civil and CASCO insurances.
RhodesCarRentals offers full insurance, inlcuding a Collision Damage Waiver, Third Party Insurance, Personal Accident Insurance and Theft Protection.
Do I get the same car as shown in your website?
Reservations are always confirmed for a given Car Group -not for a specific car model- .The car model on your voucher represents the vehicle for the class (Group) you have booked. We cannot guarantee a specific make or model. Any specific cars menthioned are simply typical examples of the size, specifications and performance applying to that car group.
RhodesCarRentals reserves the right to provide a different car model to that originally reserved of an equivalent or higher model type.
Where can I take the car from and where should I return it?
The car will be delivered at the location that you provided on your booking order, and must be returned at the agreed location that is written on the document of rental agreement.
Are there any maps in the car?
Yes, we will provide you a road map of Rhodes Island for free.
After Booking
Can I change my booking after the reservation?
Yes, you can change your booking in “My Bookings” section or by sending us an email at booking@rhodescarrentals.com
Can I cancel my booking after the reservation?
Yes, you can cancel your booking for free 48 hours or more prior to your scheduled pickup date, in “My Bookings” section or by sending us an email at booking@rhodescarrentals.com
How i will find your employee at the Airport or at my Accommodation?
- If you ordered to pick up the car at the Airport, our employee will be waiting for you upon arrival at the Arrivals Hall – Exit Gate B and will be holding a sign with your name on it.
- If you ordered the car to be delivered to your accommodation, please wait for us in front of the reception at the provided date and time of the rental order.
What are the methods of payment?
Payment is required upon pick up of car in cash or via credit card.Total amount higher than 500 euro must be paid only by credit/debit card.
During your Car Rental
Can i Extend my Rental Period?
If you wish to extend the rental period, you have to notify us at least 24 hours before the end of the rental period indicated in the rental agreement, to receive the respective approval.
Do i have road assistance?
We provide 24/7 road assistance service for all inherent mechanical faults related to the vehicle specified in the rental agreement document.For all other roadside assistance call outs including refueling, keys loss and keys locked in the vehicle, a service fee will will be charged.
What should I do in case of accident or breakdown?
In case of accident
In the unlucky event of accident you must not admit responsibility. You should get the names and addresses of everyone involved including witnesses. Obtain as much information as possible about the other vehicles registration number and driver(like name address, phone number etc).
You should also:
• tell the police straight away if anyone is injured or there is a disagreement over who is responsible;
• call the office from which you rented the vehicle, straight away.
• vehicle must never be removed from place of accident until police report has been completed.
• send the police report to our webmail address shown over the page.
In case of vehicle breaks down
Breaking down in a rental car is unusual, as the cars tend to be quite new and well-maintained. But breakdowns can happen to anyone.
